Check out this great photoset of the World Champ themed bike I designed for Peter Sagan. Even though Peter likes his bikes mild mannered I couldn’t help but add some of the flashiest paint on the market with this holographic pearl. It really needs to be seen to be believed. We topped it off with a set of gold wheels for that last¬†5% and to get the armchair designers all riled up ūüėČ

So Vincenzo Nibali managed to pull a rabbit out of a hat and won the Giro D’Italia this past Sunday. To celebrate his win I created a pink chrome Tarmac to ride to Turin with. The concept was based on many of the older chrome steel frames with candy colored top coats in all sorts of beautiful hues. I wanted his bike to shine and I think the bike did exactly that. With Fabio Aru's overall win at the Vuelta Specialized produced a bike to match the kit. Like many teams at the Grand Tours they come prepared for situations where the leaders may take a jersey. This bike was built up after he took the jersey on the penultimate day. A stock standard S-Works tarmac but with a not so stock standard paint job. Photo: Jim Fryer / BrakeThrough Media

Sometimes simple is better. I recently created a frame graphic to commemorate Fabio’s Vuelta win. You can check out the complete gallery over at cyclingnews.com.
