JENSON BUTTON

One of the first custom bikes I designed at Specialized (painted in Europe) was for Jenson Button. He didn’t have much inspiration to offer other than the color yellow and his tri teams logo. I did a little research and came up with this Maori themed tri bike based off of his shoulder tattoo. The folks at McLaren were nice enough to let some pics be taken in their HQ. How cool is that? I then had an opportunity to design another Shiv which he wanted to match his Braun F1 car which he won the World Championships in.
